Vyatka clay toys, as well known as Dymkovo toys, originated in the 15 -16 century in Sloboda Dymkovo on the low right Bank of the Vyatka river near the town of Khlynov-Vyatka. Since then the tradition is passed on from masters to master and is characterized by its unique personality.
