Hello Everyone hope you all are doing good, back with another drawing today and this is me trying a different shading method called scribble shading and I would be sharing my steps and process for this drawing.
Step 1: started with my sketch and outline
Step 2: started shading with the forehead this time around
Step 3: Shaded the eyes and nose next at this stage
Step 4: shaded the mouth and completed the face at this stage
Step 5: Shaded the neck and gave the shoulder a minimal shade.
Step 6: Worked on the right and left side of the hair next at this stage which brought to the end of my drawing.
Have been looking for a suitable shading style that doesn't consume too much time this piece took about (3 Hrs) to complete but not fully satisfied with the final results hopefully i keep experimenting till i find a suitable style.
We’ve had a few doodling lessons here in the Community with @tezzmax, and I have to say I was quite disappointed. I still have a go every now and then, but there are so many other things I enjoy that I’ve actually given up on trying to perfect it any further. I’d love to be able to doodle without all that sketching, because I’m not very good at it, or maybe I just don’t have the patience for it.
I think your drawing’s turned out quite well, though it’s very different from what @tezzmax did. Incidentally, I had less trouble with leaky pens back then than I do with my attempts at drawing with a pen.
🎉 Congratulations!
