Nature always inspires me to create something peaceful and meaningful.
This artwork is inspired by the beauty of Niagara Falls, one of the most breathtaking natural waterfalls in the world.
I created this painting on a 3×4 ft canvas using oil colors, and the entire work is done with brush technique only (no palette knife used). My goal was to capture the movement of water, the soft mist, and the natural light that makes this scene so mesmerizing.
🎨 Color Palette Used:
• Water: Turquoise, Cerulean Blue, Phthalo Blue, Titanium White
• Greens: Sap Green, Olive Green, Hooker’s Green
• Rocks & Ground: Burnt Umber, Raw Umber, Yellow Ochre
• Sky: Sky Blue, Soft Grey, Titanium White
• Highlights: Pure White with subtle Light Blue tones
🌿 The mist effect and reflections are created with soft brush strokes to give a realistic and dreamy atmosphere.
✨ This painting is inspired by an original reference image, but I adjusted the colors, composition, and lighting to give it my own artistic identity.
