INSPIRE ME: NFT Contest first attempt

Hello guys,

Just wanted to share today's pen art with you all.

I got back from the market around 10 this morning and finished eating breakfast. I was thinking of creating an art piece for an NFT contest on Hive NFT Showroom Title "Mysterious", but I just couldn't come up with a suitable thing to draw or maybe paint.

I decided to think back a little to the Snow White cartoon—the scene where she fled after being warned by the guard who was sent to kill her.

I still hadn't figured out what I would call "mysterious," but I decided to draw a tree.

I don't know why I added the eye-like figure. Maybe it was because I was still thinking of "mysterious"—perhaps I could make this guy mysterious, I thought.

I moved on to the lake behind, which came as a thought since I was too lazy to make it a thick forest. I started adding grasses as a result.

After reaching a point while adding grasses, I thought the single-tree forest wouldn't do, so I added one little tree.

As my YouTube tutor would say, "WHYYYY STOP HEEEEE!!!" I didn't stop, so I ended up adding other stuff until a visitor came unexpectedly—and guess what? Moment ruined.

So I added the rest of the grasses and shaded the tree, imagining the light source was behind. That part wasn't easy because I've only learned backlight shadowing with a pencil, not a pen.

It's a nice point to stop since I don't feel like continuing, and my phone battery is a little low to say I'd continue to digitally paint it or go back to painting page 1 of my comic book issue 6.

I think I'll calm down on the NFT stuff a bit until my head comes up with something that fits. Might use this as a second NFT later, maybe after painting it.
