Drawing a cat
I've been wanting to draw a kitten for days, so yesterday afternoon I got to work and this morning I finally finished it. I wanted to share this drawing with this wonderful community. Please come and see how I painted it.
This drawing was easy to do. The first step is always to choose the colors, paper, and pencils. In the second step, I drew the lines that form the cat's face to get an idea of what it looks like.
In the third and fourth steps, I drew the kitten's face, the details, the nose, and the mouth. In these steps, the cat began to take shape, and the fourth photo seems quite funny to me because it looks like it has bulging eyes, haha, but don't worry, it's part of the process; later, the color will reveal the cat's true expression.
In the fifth and sixth steps I proceeded to draw the eyes with black, blue, purple and white colors to create the illusion of realistic eyes. I also painted his mouth and whiskers with skin and yellow colors, and to paint his head I had to improvise with a mixture of yellow and orange to simulate his hair.
Although it was quite simple, I enjoyed drawing it and put a lot of effort into it. I hope you like it; this was the final result.
The kitten drawing is inspired by a cute cat looking straight ahead, with bright eyes and yellow and orange fur. I colored it simply, using only pencil and colored pencils. Sometimes you can go over it with a marker, but in this case, the details are done in pencil and using a marker might ruin them. Thanks, that's how I did today's drawing.

My regular coloured pencils always suck. For some reason there's no colour in it and I have a double wooden box... or let's say I found one in my son's room.. never used. Perhaps I need different paper. I don't like colouring by the way. I never liked it, the thing between the lines. LOL
Sometimes, no matter how bad the colored pencils are, we can still get the most out of them, and I have experience with that, since my pencils are just regular ones.
