Drawing a snail in black and white

Hey artists! How are you? I hope you're all doing well. I've been working on a drawing and finished it four days ago, but due to connection problems, I haven't been able to post it. I've only been online for a few minutes at a time, which is why I haven't been able to share it. Anyway, here I am, and today I want to share it with you. Join me if you want to see how I made this drawing, which, by the way, is of a snail.

I would like to show you how I made this drawing in a different way, since the steps are very similar to those of other drawings, so I would like to talk about the snail and how I came up with the idea of drawing it while I show you the steps of the drawing.

In the first two steps, I drew the body, eyes, and mouth tentacles, along with part of the shell, giving the drawing an almost complete image of the snail. The idea to draw this came to me from a memory. Many years ago, when I was at my great-grandparents' house, I came across one of these round-shelled mollusks, and from that day on, I was fascinated by snails. That's why I decided to draw this particular mollusk.

Okay, friends, in steps 3 and 4 I drew the entire shell along with its spiral details, and also the details of the slime or skin on the snail's body. This is a very curious and interesting mollusk, which is incredible, and despite being very slow, it has many qualities. They have beautiful shells, and their body structure is unique. They can also climb walls, which is impressive.

In steps 5 and 6, I proceeded to draw all the details of the snail in its entirety. On the shell, I made the markings and lines that would give the drawing a more realistic visual appearance. Along with this step, I proceeded to thicken the lines of the skin and antennae, giving the drawing its final finish. Finally, I added my signature to the drawing using my Steemit account name (Geantech).

Well, folks, this is the final result. I put a lot of effort into making it look like this. I love snails; every time I see one, it reminds me of an animated movie about a speedy snail. Maybe you've seen it. Also, the shells of these mollusks remind me of a nautilus because of their round shape.

Well, friends, see you later. I really enjoyed drawing this. It's a pleasure to post in this community. Thanks for everything.

It turned out wonder well. My compliments! Do you know that there people keeping a snail for a pet?

Hi @wakeupkitty, I'm so glad you liked the drawing! You know, I didn't know snails could be kept as pets. What do they eat? It must be really interesting to have a snail as a pet. Thanks for everything, have a great day!

have fun watching or search yourself. this is a very huge one.

Wow, dude, what a great video! Thanks for sharing it with me 🤩. It teaches so much about snails, and that giant African snail is truly impressive. Snails are amazing, although, as the girl in the video said, those snails in their natural habitat are voracious and eat a lot. I really enjoyed the video and learned a lot. Thanks, see you later, dude.

Thank you very much friend, for you support💛.
