A portrait drawing of a boy with a school bag
Hello my people, hope you all are doing great. I am here with a new drawing as usual, this time I tried to go polychrome with my drawing by using a different medium.
Back to School
Some drawings don’t just show pictures they unlock memories or past events. This one takes me back to a moment with my late dad. A military man very Disciplined. Sometimes harsh, But I understand he only wanted the best for us as kids. I was very young when I got admitted into high school a military boarding school. The kind of place known for shaping stubborn kids into responsible men. I didn’t really know what I was walking into. But Real life introduced early.
Before I left, my dad sat me down. He looked at me and said, “Remember the son of who you are.”
At the time, it sounded plain. But in that school, surrounded by all kinds of influences, those words became my anchor. Whenever I saw others misbehave, I would hear his voice again in my head.
This piece is more than art. It’s a reminder of experience discipline, and a father’s love that still guides me even in his absence.
