My own version of a MonaLisa painting
This was a painting I did way back at 2022, it’s a painting of my own version of monalisa, narrowing it down to my culture and identity. I got my inspiration from the most famous Monalisa painting.
I titled my own piece:
“ EneMona Lisa”
EneMona in my local dialect means “Who knows tomorrow.” This piece reflects a thoughtful and humble view of life, recognizing that the future is never fully certain or within human control. It speaks to the understanding that no matter how carefully we plan, tomorrow remains unknown, and only divine wisdom truly knows what lies ahead. The phrase carries a sense of faith, and acceptance, reminding us that life unfolds in ways beyond human prediction. It also suggests trust in a higher power, acknowledging that while people can hope, dream, and prepare for the future, ultimate knowledge and control belong to God.
It also balls down from the painting of the monalisa piece, who would have thought such painting could be so popular today, I am very certain Leonardo Davinci may never have thought about it that way, this just narrows down to how life can be unpredictable and the future is bright regardless of the circumstances we are facing right now.

I loved your creative process and how you draw on your identity and traditions, something we should always carry within us, like fire etched on our skin. That's what makes us human, authentic artists. Keep sharing your art. It's good to have creators around; the world needs more art.
Thanks so much brother, your words means a lot. As an artist it’s up to us to document time and preserve our identity through our arts.

I like yours more besides your painting is finished, unlike Leonardo's. I find Mona Lisa an ugly woman if it is a woman at all. There's also nothing mysterious about her smile and Leonardo knew it. He might have a good laugh if he hears what art critics around the world say.
Did you use yourself as a model for your painting? I love how you could give the title a different meaning.
Thanks 🙏
Ahahahhaha for me I just appreciate the art and the person behind it, Leonardo was a polymath and I kinda find my self in him.
I don’t use my self as model, but I am thinking about it because I have never drawn my self before.
They say that is the hardest since we see ourselves different from others but if you ask me that is the case with every person, being and thing we see.
