Sir Allister on a mission with his faithful companion Rollaz

Good evening, my dear #Steemit readers. Happy start to the week, everyone. I hope you are all doing well. Your friend Manuel here is very happy to share a new artistic post for my blog. This time I bring you a representation more focused on the medieval style. In this case, I wanted to represent a warrior whom I decided to call Allister, who belongs directly to the royal guard of the monarch of a small but prosperous kingdom. When it comes to secret, stealthy, and above all very dangerous missions, these are usually entrusted to Allister, who always carries them out alone, or well, almost alone, since he is always accompanied by his faithful wolf (Rollaz), a platinum wolf he has raised since he was just a puppy. This wolf informs Allister from a distance when an enemy is approaching thanks to his intense howl, but he is also very well trained to hide in the bushes and attack when his master is in danger:

Muy buenas noches mis queridos lectores de #Steemit, feliz inicio de semana para todos, espero que se encuentren muy bien, por aquí los saluda su amigo Manuel super feliz de poder compartirles un nuevo post artístico para mi blog. Esta vez les traigo una representación mas enfocada en el estilo medieval, en este caso quise representar a un guerrero al cual decidí llamar por el nombre de Allister, el cual pertenece directamente a la guardia real del monarca de un pequeño pero prospero reino; cuando se trata de misiones secretas, sigilosas y sobre todo muy peligrosas por lo general estas son encomendadas a Allister, el cual siempre las realiza solo, o bueno, casi solo, puesto que con el siempre lo acompaña su fiel lobo (Rollaz), un lobo platinado criado por el mismo desde que área apenas un cachorro, este lobo le informa a Allister desde la distancia cuando un enemigo se acerca gracias a su intenso aullido, pero además está muy bien entrenado para ocultarse entre los arbustos y atacar cuando su amo está en peligro:

Since this work would feature two main characters, I decided to do a full-body drawing to give my characters a higher level of detail. In the case of the knight (Allister), I decided to draw him standing with his hands on his two swords, staring intently at his small, faithful friend, who seems to have noticed someone in the distance. Now that I have finished the sketch, I continue with the coloring process. In this case, I started by painting the character (Allister), working first on his face and hands, which are the only visible areas of his body. For the face, I used my comic brush to create some wrinkles and folds that denote a bit of maturity in the character.

Como en este caso la obra trataría de 2 personajes principales decidí hacer un dibujo a cuerpo completo para darle un mejor nivel de detalle a mis personajes, en el caso del caballero (Allister) decidí dibujarlo como parado poniendo sus manos sobre sus 2 espadas, mientras mira fijamente su pequeño y fiel amigo el cual al parecer se ha percatado de la presencia de alguien a la distancia. En lo que ya he terminado con el boceto continuo con el proceso de coloreado, en este caso empecé pintado al personaje de (Allister), dándole trabajo en primer lugar a su rostro y manos, los cuales son las únicas zonas visibles de su cuerpo, en el caso del rostro usé mi pincel de comic para formar algunas arrugas y pliegues que denotaran un poco de madurez en el personaje.

In the second stage, I focused on shaping and coloring the hair. For this, I used a palette of brown colors, and my idea was for Allister to have a side-part hairstyle with plenty of volume. To achieve this, I used my bristle brush and three-point brush to create better texture. For Allister's clothing, I started with a base of blue tones to create a suit that was a little more fitted to the character's torso and legs. In this case, I used watercolor and a flat brush to create folds and wrinkles. then, with more reddish tones, I created a kind of cape or tunic that was slightly longer, reaching down to the knee area. Here, I also tried to create a rough, thick texture with the same brushes as before.

En la 2da etapa me ocupe de darle forma y color al cabello, para esto use una paleta de colores marrones, y mi idea era que Allister llevase un peinado con estilo side-part o peinado hacia un lado con bastante volumen, para esto use mi pincel de cerdas y de 3 puntas para lograr un mejore relieve. En el caso de la vestimenta de Allister empecé con una base de tonos azules para crear el traje un poco mas ajustado al torso y piernas del personaje, en este caso use acuarela y un pincel plano para construir pliegues y arrugas; luego con tonos mas rojizos cree una especie de capa o túnica un poco larga hasta la zona de las rodillas, aquí también trate de crear una textura ruidosa y gruesa con los mismos pinceles de antes.

To create the little white wolf (Rollaz) that would accompany Allister, I used a base of gray and light blue tones. First, I used my airbrush brush to build texture and volume on the legs and torso of his body. Here, I again used my bristle brush to create what would be the outline of the fur so that the wolf would look much more realistic. In addition to the wolf, I decided to add a small bandage to its hind leg using intermediate gray tones to give the wolf a slightly rougher appearance, showing that despite its injuries, it accompanies its master on his mission. For the background, I decided to set the scene in a dark and cold forest. I created some trees in the background to populate the scene, as well as some bushes to give a little more depth perspective.

Para la creación del pequeño lobo blanco (Rollaz) que acompañaría a Allister use una base de tonos grises y azules claros, en primera instancia use mi pincel de aerógrafo para construir la textura y el volumen en las patas y el torso de su cuerpo, aquí nuevamente use mi pincel de cerdas para crear lo que seria el contorno del pelaje de modo que el lobo se viese mucho mas realista. Adicionalmente al lobo decidí agregarle un pequeño vendaje en la zona de la pata trasera con tonos grises intermedios, esto para darle al lobo una apariencia un poco mas ruda, que a pesar de sus heridas acompaña a su amo en su misión. Con respecto al fondo se me ocurrió ambientar todo como un bosque oscuro y frio, cree algunos árboles de fondo poblando la escena, también cree arbustos dando un poco más de perspectiva de profundidad.
