Ocean eyes and whispers of golden dusk
hello guy's, it's been a while, I will love to share with you the challenges I faced while painting these two pieces and the reason I fell in love with them.

whispers of a golden dusk was my first painting on canvas, while I was In the polytechnic we used cardboard to paint instead of canvas which made me dislike painting because of the results it gives but after painting on canvas my mind changed, the outcome was better than I thought, I fell in love with it instantly, this made me started painting on canvas, I painted this piece because of my love for nature, and to be honest I didn't have any challenges, maybe because I did not detail it much, the sky wasn't so difficult to paint and the trees. However, whispers of a golden dusk was inspired by my love for nature and the fact that I wanted to try something new.

Ocean eyes; was my fourth painting on canvas, this piece was a little challenging, the rocks gave me a tough time, achieving the color was not easy and the greens I added on the rock made it more difficult, but I did it eventually, as for the sea it feels amazing while painting it, I will say it was the most interesting part, this piece made me love painting water generally.

Hello, friend. It's always good to do retrospective exercises and reflect by comparing yesterday with today.
You show two canvases; I don't have much to say about the first one. Regarding the seascape, I highlight the work with water and the presence of an "atmosphere." Did you use glazes?

The next post, if you'll allow me, will show us your current work, compared to these... interesting, isn't it?

No I didn't glaze it, and sorry I really don't understand when you mean

Hello, yes, sorry. I don't know if the English translation is correct. By (veladuras) "glazing" I mean applying very thin, almost transparent layers of paint.

It will be good if you show some pictures of how you did it and the psainting grew.

It looks like no glazing.

I wonder what the cardboard looks like you used.

Ok noted 🥰
