Mixed Media Drawing of Visual artist Olaolu Slawn
Hello Everyone, back at it with another drawing, this time I drew one of Nigerian visual artist Olaolu Slawn, In 2023, he became the youngest person to design the Britannia statuette for the annual BRIT awards. Did this drawing with a yellow watercolor wash on my paper and used red ink.
Would be sharing my steps and process below.
Step 1 did my sketch and outline then started shading of the face.
Step 2 worked on the remaining part of the face 
Step 3 started working on the neck next.
Step 4 finished with the neck ,worked on the shoulder next and then shaded the head wear which brought to the end of my drawing.

Can you explain what the mixed media is you used? I see paper and one pen. Is there anything else?
How come your pen doesn't leak unlike the different ones I tried?
I changed your label.

The yellow paper was a water color wash.
you can try using Bic pen.

I did but my Bic also leaks. I will see if I find some others.
