Learn To Paint Still-Life With @tezzmax In 6 Days - (Day 2).
Good Day Steemians and Art Lovers, 😎
It's day two of the still life painting lessons and today's activities are rather technical than tedious, I am taking my time with this in order to share every bit of information, steps and procedures in order to have almost anyone interested to make a worthy attempt.
THE SETUP!

Due to the weight of the primer applied yesterday, the canvas developed some folds and we had to restretch them, personally for my acrylic and oil paintings I don't like to have them on a smooth canvas and aside from that, a rough surface canvas can be too harsh for you brushes and could damage the bristles of the brushes in short time, due to that, I decided that we use not so harsh sandpaper to smoothen the surface of the canvas.

After making use of the sandpaper we then used a damped towel to wipe the surface of the canvas to clean up whatever particles the sandpaper must have detached from the surface of the canvas.

We waited for the surface of the canvas to get dry properly and then we measured out the space within the canvas that we intend to use and in the case it's 10 inches by breadth and 14 inches by height.

At this point, we've tapped out the needed areas of the canvas for the painting and my tomorrow, there should come some drawings and colours and the canvas! 😎
Let's keep the slow and steady, we're definitely going to have a beautiful result at the end of the week!

This is what I'm going to paint
Dude, since I don't have a canvas or the right paints to paint with, I decided to use colored pencils I have at home and a notebook. I decided to draw in advance to see how it turned out, but I think the poor quality of the drawing materials didn't help me paint the drawing, so it turned out poorly.
Anyway, even though I can't draw because of the colors, I'll be on the lookout for your upcoming posts to keep learning.
Like I said, I tried to draw so you can see how it turned out. Here's a photo so you can tell me what you think.

I am glad you made an attempt but I can't see any of the two images (haven't been seeing images on steemit for over a day now), I think the issue is from my service provider but I shall revisit this comment again. Thank you.

Thanks, no problem. The same thing has been happening to me these past few days. I was having trouble viewing the photos in your posts. Thanks for your support. I'll be on the lookout for your upcoming posts to learn, and I'll try again once I've mastered this art.
No, the problem with the pictures is Steemit. It's not you.
Oh, I thought it was my network hunting me, been to perplexed, thank for the clarity.
Now I can see the image, it's not so bad bust I believe you we can do so much better than this with time, next time, we would to a more simpler lessons.
Well, thanks. I'm glad the drawing didn't turn out too bad. I'll try it again in the next few days, but this time only in pencil, to see how it goes. I'll post it in the community. I'll look forward to the next lessons to learn more.
Sure, can't wait to see that.
Thank you

Why not make one without colours, just one colour can do the trick as well, shadows included or even better, your own style.
Thanks, that's a great idea. I'll do it.

I saw it and wit resteem. We have huge issues seeing the pictures.
I uploaded a few with help an upload site but the last ones are also not visible.
BTW I rarely use an easel.
I thank we should just wait until the image uploading issue is sorted, it's not a must to use easel, whatever works for you is perfectly fine.
Upvoted! Thank you for supporting witness @jswit.
