Good Day Steemians,

It's been a long weekend and with so much intentionality, I was able to make the above study sketch today, it's nothing deep really, I just saw the reference image and just felt like making a beautiful drawing out of it, I intentionally didn't make the expression/emotion clear, I just wanted the feel of the female figure and that's all.

It was quite refreshing creating this beautiful piece, even though I do not tie and strong thought nor message to it, I still very much love the rendition and how artistically pleasing it is.

I agree this is a great piece to look at. I just cleaned up my painting stuff since I finished the last pimp item. Who knows I can scribble a bit again, tomorrow or next week. Since sketching is still not my cup of tea (later I try that again).

BTW do you use soft pastels?

I shall be waiting to see your scribble attempt again.
Yes, there was a time I made use of pastels and it was cool too.

Can you tell me how you did it? I just found two boxes. Now I need some pencils (well, not need but some would be good). What was the paper you used? So fa,r the bamboo is the only paper I can lay my hands on and isn't a rib out of my body. LOL

I don't what paper you would be able to access over there but there's something called chipboard here and it works just fine for pastels.

I don't know this product but the GSM is good enough, is the surface smooth or rough?

The surface of the bamboo paper is a bit rough. I like it.
