HAPPY BIRTHDAY USSA: A Postcard to Washington (Anti-Authoritarian Artwork)
The Emperor’s Palace
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue
Washington DC
Dear, Washington DC
I’m so sorry; I was way late on this one! If it’s any consolation, happy belated birthday USSA. Can you ever find it in your heart to forgive me?
I hate to make excuses, but I guess, at some point between my never ending toil in the fields and constantly trying to pay my fair share, (of your salaries) the 4th of July just blew right past without me noticing. What can I say? I still care. Even though you’ve taxed away my future, as well as all my hopes and dreams, I just wanted to thank you for helping a nobody, like myself, to see the world clearly.
You know, had you not taken everything from me, I might have gone my whole life wandering what it was like to have nothing to lose. And, seeing how you’ve taken away all my worldly possessions, I’ve had a lot of time to read books, educate myself, as well as understand where all of us little people fit into your pyramid scheme. Thank you for that. And again, sorry I was late. I hope you understand.
Yours truly,
Slave # 13331
PS: Also, I nearly forgot. I’ve been meaning to mention this for a while now… Please stop sending me your 1040 consent forms, I no longer have anything left your you to take, which you can ever posses. Please enjoy my livelihood. You “earned” it. Thanks…
Oh, I just wanted to tell you. The slaves are awake and aware of what you’ve been going to them for the last 100 years. Just wanted you to know…
…We know...
