Hi everyone. It's a Lunar Eclipse day today, one of those moments that sets the scene for the weeks and months to come. Lunar Eclipses tend to affect the moods and needs of the people rather than bring significant events to bare upon us, that's the main difference between the two (Solar & Lunar) in my personal opinion. Taking that all into account, then if you look at the chart, and I touched on this in my post a few days ago looking at the US Midterm elections on my Facebook page, the feeling within us all will be one of sensing that in some way, it's time to move and and in the same moment push on from past situations that might have been causing problems or holding us back.

Uranus is conjunct the eclipsed Moon with the North Node. Just using trigger words (Uranus) is progressive (North Node is future). Square to the triple conjunction is Saturn (limitations or responsibilities). The sense you will have is to find a way to progress or update things that are stopping you from doing what you really want to do.

Opposite to the Eclipsed Moon is Venus, Sun and Mercury, planets of the day to day life that we all lead. Relationships, finance matters, agreements, things that have been said, maybe younger people or siblings, our appearance or possessions. Any one of these things could also be a direct reason whay we might want to break new ground, we will be trying to escape the clutches of them in the next 6 months. Understand where I am coming from?

Mars has recently gone retrograde and that is not going to make things easy to go forward with confidence, as Gemini is such a erratic and unpredictable sign. In Gemini, Mars normally has to juggle its priorities anyway. With it retrograde, there is the possiblity of dropping any of the objects you are trying to keep in the air, leading to irritation and possible anger in not being able to fulfil your tasks. Life often is complicated under Mars in Gemini, and it might be that you have to reset or redo things that were left on the backburner in times past. Just like with me coming back to write Astrology, after a period when it was impossible to find time to do it. There's a direct illustration of Mars retrograde, expecially square to the planets of Jupiter (wisdom) and Neptune (spirituality). You might decide to go back to a sport, a lover, start riding a bicycle again, focusing on education or learning a language, indeed returning to do anything linked to Mars or Gemini? So in conclusion, whereas we will be trying to go in a new direction, we will find it easiest if we focus on something we used to do or know very well.

As for Fixed Stars, the eclipse degree 16.01 Taurus is just over a degree from the star Menkar in the constellation of Cetus the Whale - it sits currently at 14.38 Taurus. This is a star very much linked to gut feelings, sensing the direction the wind is going and catching the mood of the people or community. It is a star of plunging the depths, of much chaos and it brings disturbing occurences and happenings. It is incidentally very close to the degree point that was on the Ascendant as Former Predisent Donald Trump swore the oath of allegience to the US Constitution as he became President of that nation. He must resonate to this star as the Midterm elections are due today and Trump is poised to announce that he will seek the Presidency once again in 2024. Back in 2016, I rent on record that the Trump Administration would bring nothing but trouble, unpredictability and chaos, and I wasn't wrong. The next 6 months may just bring a lot more of the same....
