Balloons over the city here in Albuquerque is very common due to the wind pattern that exists here in the city next to the Sandia mountains and valley made by the Rio Grande to the west. The balloons seem to come out on Fridays though I saw some yesterday as well. I plan to get up really early this Friday and head towards the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta Fairgrounds here in the city and see if I can get some pics of the balloons launching.

I was stationed in Colorado Springs, Co back in my Army days. They had a big balloon fest every year, always amazing to see those colorful ballons floating lazily across the sky! Great post!
Thank you very much for the kind comment! It is always awesome to wake up in the morning and go outside and see the colorful orbs floating around. When the Balloon fiesta happens here in October, there will be over 600 balloons plus special shape ones too floating in the sky.
