The Banks do you Love Them or Hate Them

Well what can we say about banks, apart from they will steal from there own mothers if you give them the chance, so do not give them that chance.

Never keep much money in your bank at this precarious time, as when the banks fail bang goes the money you live on or your savings or your pension. Once you put your money in the bank it belongs to them, have you tried taking out a large sum of money out.

I went to the bank to take out £15,000 and i got my account manager pull me into the office and he said, what do you want the money for, i told him, he tried to say well your money is better of in the bank and you can only take out a certain amount at any one time, wait a minute this is my money not yours and what i want to do with is up to me as long as it is legal whats the problem.

Then you get all the bullshit that banks give you, but he said what he can do is let me take out £1,000 out of the cash machine, now you tell me does that seem like the listening bank.

Warning get your money out of dodge before the bank robbers get there, ops sorry they run the banks

As far as I see it banks are there for you to use, not for them to use you.
I can't believe they didn't let you withdraw more than that amount, they may not even had 15k at the branch they could give away but the fact that they limit you is very alarming and I would definitely try to find a bank that wouldn't do that.
It would probably work better if you told them you are going to transfer everything you have into a different bank if they didn't give you what you wanted or that you would like to close your account and get everything out now but I guess that would also be a problem...

I've been gradually moving savings from a big bank into a local credit union, which pays dividends and is socially responsible and engaged with the community in various ways. I just started stacking silver, love the stuff, but I think I will be moving to Gold Sovereigns for more reliable long-term hedging.

Very true i only pay bills with money in my bank

Banks are handy for certain things, but I never keep more than five grand in one at any given time. Spread it all about. Different banks (and not in one country/jurisdiction!), physical bullion, goldmoney.com, the Royal Mint's Signature Gold thing, crypto, and even Paypal can be used as a form of temporary wealth storage. Main thing is to have wealth work for you though, and bricks and mortar's the only straightforward way for that, if you don't have time to keep on top of the stocks and shares.

if you are in cCanada gold money is great, I just bought 25 1oz bars at £13.16 with vat that works out at £16 not bad for UK

I can't believe that your bank did that to you.
I remember when I sent 200 dollars worth of money to my debit card, after a few days my bank called me and asked me about where the money came from. I mean I am not laundering money and the amount isn't that big for them to call me up for that.

I love to hate them! :) Sov.

In my native country I must tell the bank how much I want to withdraw and wait at least two days to receive the money (if it is more than around U$1,500.00). SOV.

Well I would NEVER trust my money with banks! I rather store it in the form of precious metal and property!
