This station is located between Rangpur and Parbatipur. This station was built during the British era. You can travel in two directions from this station, such as Burimari to Parbatipur and Rangpur. This railway station is a little important railway station for the people of Shyampur.

Among the upazilas in Rangpur district, Bodarganj Upazila is an important upazila. Shyampur is the union in this upazila. The Parbatipur to Rangpur railway line passes through Shyampur. The people of Badalganj can use two railway stations, one is Badarganj Station and the other is Shyampur Station.

The restrooms at the railway station are actually abandoned because they were repaired a long time ago and have not been repaired again, due to which even a little rain causes water to fall and passengers cannot travel comfortably.

However, I saw that most of the passengers were staying outside at this station because there were no passengers inside the first-class rest rooms and the second-class school. There was no electricity or seating. Since no intercity trains run here, the night shelters were abandoned.

Every person travelling at the station is from the lower class, which is why the mail train is their only hope. Passengers do not have to pay fare when travelling by mail train. Government trains are run for local passengers.I am trying to tell you about the trains that run at the railway station, which are Dinajpur Communitor Local, Ramsagar Express Lalmoni Communitor and Dolanchapa Local.However, this British-era station still stands as a witness to the dark ages. Although it lacks the touch of modernity, passengers are still able to travel. May everyone be well and healthy. May Allah preserve them until today.
