Map the Story #23 - "Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park, Lahore"

Hello friends, how are you all doing today, hope that you people will be fine and doing great in life. @miftahulrizky have organized a contest about #steem-atlas, so I am going to share my post here about the contest. The post is about a park.

• On 30 September 2025, we decided to visit Gulshan Iqbal park at 4:30 pm. I was accompanied with my friends, we were 4 friends in total. I don't remember the day but from the description of photo I found out it's creation date.

Tour of the park

• On entrance, you will see walking track which will take to every place of the park. The track is built with bricks and designed with colors.

• On one side of the walking track, there is greener area which contains seats and on the other side there is a pool; it is a huge one where ducks and fishes are living. It is a wonderful architecture because of distinct locational attraction.

• Moreover, there are playing area for kids where they enjoy, it contains air-filled castle, rotational rides, large swings and dodging car play area.

These were the photos which I explained about the playing area of the park. This place have and entry gate which mentions this place as Funland because it contains many rides for kids and grownups.

• We always visit place in our leisure time, mostly after 3 pm in winter. This is beautiful place to visit, it fulfills many things which a park should include. It includes dustbins for trash, food stalls for eating, play area for kids, nature for surrounding and most importantly which I missed at the start that is no fee for entrance. The entrance fee is zero, which makes it visiting area for every type of people. Further, there is a proper parking place for vehicles and bikes. The park includes washrooms and drinking water filters; which is also free for the visitors.

Physical fitness

The greatest thing which this Gulshan Iqbal park includes is track for jogging and running. A wonderful feature of this park, because I am also physical fitness lover. Moreover, it includes gym for exercise which is paid. The running track is surrounded from the park from the interior region.

Natural Habitat

Natural habitat for ducks, fish, birds and squirrels. Birds have built their nests here, ducks are living beside river and swim in both of the lakes, squirrels have built their living place in the trees and fish survive in lakes.

Beside running and gym area, there is also sports area. It is indoor football court. Where both kids and grownups play football sports.
