"Exploring Park's Pool"
It was good day, I was having holiday from university, so I visited this place with my friend. It is cool, mind-blowing and relaxing place to visit. The best reason for visiting this place is due to no entrance fee. The place is free for all kinds of people; it is a government park. Moreover, it is neat and clean; a staff is working to look after it. Every day, maintenance is done by every particular party, every person is assigned for distinct duty.
- The pool is kept warm; fish live in it; which makes it compatible for fishes to lay eggs in it.
- A side-track, all the way surrounded from the pool; feeling the natural beauty of the pool while walking around it.
- A wonderful place to take your memorable photo, also with friends.
- There are seats available near to this pool, you can watch the pool area from seating.
- Further, there are boats available which customers use to explore the round pool.
- Water-filters; drinking water installed near the pool.
Usually, we drink tea around 4:30 pm. This day we went for tea quickly. The sky was filled with clouds, the weather these days in Lahore is smoky. Doctors prescribe to wear masks and do physical exercise to fight smoggy weather. We decided to go for a quick walk, brisk walk; alternative to running.
We have to choose 2 places for a walk. First, taking the road towards Orange train line and the second one, to visit the park. The road-side is very noisy and there is huge traffic running every day. The better one was to visit the park.
We catch the Main Boulevard road going towards the Orange train line, in mid-way we changed our route, travelled towards the park.
Entered Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park. From left, the pool-side track starts.
Started our parade, went all around the park, and in the end came near the pool. Customers were waiting in line; people were riding boats in the pool. 2 persons can only use 1 boat. They were given specific time to ride. In the mid of the pool, there was a small round shape island-type; it contained many flowers and other designated plants. It was used for decoration.

A beautiful, filled with nature, scenic and a picnic place for family. Playing place for kids, numerous grounds are present for physical exercise. Families bring food with themselves and enjoy it here. On the other hand, photographers come here to capture nature of this place. A lot of people do exercise here through jogging and workouts.
