RESTING TUESDAY

Special greetings to my cherished community! I hope this message finds everyone well, at peace, and surrounded by abundant grace. It is always a blessing to share our daily experiences as a family, and today I feel grateful to share how my Tuesday unfolded. This day began gently. I woke up with a sense of calm, having decided to stay home because there wasn’t much to attend to at work. Unlike some of my busy days filled with activity and tight schedules, this Tuesday offered me a rare chance to slow down, breathe, and really listen to my body. I saw this as a gift and chose to embrace it.

I spent the morning quietly at home, allowing myself to rest properly—something we often overlook amid our daily tasks. I reflected on the recent days, contemplated upcoming plans, and enjoyed the simple pleasure of a peaceful environment. Sometimes, taking time to rest is just as productive; it revitalizes us, clears our minds, and better prepares us for what lies ahead. Today served as a reminder of the importance of balance and recognizing when to pause as opposed to when to forge ahead.

As the day went on, the atmosphere remained unhurried and relaxed. By early afternoon, I felt rejuvenated and ready to take action. Around 3:00 pm, I decided it was time to venture out. With intent and clarity, I got ready and made my way to one of the most vibrant places in Akwa Ibom State—Itam Market.
As many of you know, Itam Market is always bustling with life. From the moment I arrived, the lively energy was palpable. Vendors calling out to customers, the flow of people navigating various sections, and the vibrant showcase of goods came together to create that cherished market atmosphere. It’s more than just a shopping venue; it’s a hub of daily interactions and culture.
I went mainly to purchase some food and clothing. I navigated the market thoughtfully, handpicking fresh food items for home. There’s something immensely satisfying about selecting produce directly from the market—seeing its quality firsthand and supporting local vendors who strive to support their families. I also took my time exploring the clothing sections and eventually found some great pieces that suited my needs. It was a simple yet rewarding experience.
