The diary game: A Beautiful Wedding and an Unexpected Second Receptionl(28/6/2026)

Greetings, amazing Steemians!
I remain @emmahwealth, and my name is Promise Okon. Welcome to another episode of my diary game where I share the little moments that made my day special. Yesterday was a day filled with love, celebration, and a little extra enjoyment that I didn't expect. Here is how my day went.

I got dressed and headed to the church for my friend's auntie's wedding ceremony. I even put on my sunglasses because, for a moment, I felt like a very important guest. 😂 The atmosphere at the church was beautiful, and everyone was excited to witness the special occasion.

The couple exchanged their vows before God, and it was such a lovely moment to witness. The pastors also shared a beautiful message about love, patience, and understanding in marriage.
Everyone listened attentively, but I won't lie,I was also patiently waiting for the celebration and refreshments that would follow. Nigerians and food are best friends. 🤭

After the church ceremony and the main reception, I returned home thinking that the celebration had finally ended. To my surprise, I met another local reception going on in the compound.
At that point, I told myself, "Promise, your enjoyment is not over yet!" 😂 I quickly joined in the merry-making, enjoyed the music, and spent more time celebrating with everyone around.

Later in the evening, my cousin cooked corn, and I happily took some and ate it as my dessert for dinner. Honestly, after a day filled with celebration, the corn tasted extra sweet.
It was the perfect way to end such a beautiful and fun-filled day.
