The Diary Game || 06.04.2026 || My Sweet Home.
Dear Steemian friends, today I will share a new day's diary. Today was a little different for me. After a long time, a different pull to go to my village was working inside me. Today I woke up at 4:30 am. I woke up a little earlier than usual. After freshening up, I left Uttara house at 5:20 am for "Apon Nir". After about 2.5 months, I am returning to the village. My dear friend Tofail was with me. Meeting after a long time, so both of them are quite happy.

As I walked down the street, I saw a strangely beautiful sight. The moon in the east was slowly tilting to the west, peeking out at me through the gap between two buildings. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen.

While passing over the airport area, I caught a glimpse of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport from a distance. It is the main international airport of Bangladesh, with thousands of passengers arriving and departing here every day. It is a very important hub for the country's economy and communication system.

Then the car went up the Dhaka Elevated Expressway. This expressway is playing an important role in reducing traffic congestion in Dhaka. It is a modern way to travel quickly from the airport to Moghbazar via FDC. The buildings around it seemed to be the same height, so I captured that moment on camera.

Tall buildings and the morning beauty of nature.
Once, I suddenly fell asleep. When I woke up, I saw the sun rising near Kanchpur. I captured that moment filled with golden light on my camera.

Then when I climbed the Meghna Bridge, the view of the Meghna River was truly breathtaking. This vast river is one of the most important rivers in the country, essential for trade and livelihood. And the beauty of the roadside.

As the car was moving forward on the ever-familiar Cumilla Bishwa Road, it seemed like memories were flooding back one by one. A huge period of my educational life is associated with this place. This important junction on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway is always busy. Once upon a time, I used to travel along this road every day, witnessing classes, friends, chats and countless memories. This Cumilla is a witness to this.

When I entered the village, the beauty of nature filled my mind. Because the memories of my childhood were shining in my eyes. Green rice fields, open sky, and the smile on the farmer's face, all of these are real peace. A farmer's biggest dream is to bring home his golden harvest. But at this time, the thought that the Kalbaisakhi storm could break that dream in an instant also came to mind.

After reaching home, I met my relatives. Then I went to the upazila office and completed some land-related work. After finishing all the work, I set off for Dhaka. I reached home at 10:30 pm and after dinner, Alhamdulillah, I went to rest. At the end of a long day, a kind of peace was working.Today was not just a journey, it was a story of returning to one's roots. The village is like a piece of peace in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the city.
Alhamdulillah, the day ended beautifully. Good night.
A little love for home.
