The Diary Game: A Busy Market Day That Ended With My Favorite Local Meal(21:03:2026)

Hello Pookies, I am Happiness Effiong with @inemghurrl as my steemit username. The early morning rush to different endeavors happened this morning and I was part of it. I was rushing to go to the market so I could pick up some few things for myself. I also wanted to buy few foodstuffs. When I got to the bust stop, people were rushing to enter the bus because we had less taxi bus shuffling the road since the price of petrol is very high.

Finally, I got in and we went to the market. My mum asked me to get few things at the market for her and she had already sent in money for that. When I got to the market, I paid for the taxi and I went out to go and shop for the things that took me to the market.

When I finished buying the food stuffs I came to buy. I wanted to take my leave but I saw this beautiful local apple on display, they were so beautiful for the eyes to behold, I paused and bought some then I added them to the things I bought then I went back home.

I got back to the house and mummy was already trying to prepare food so that I will come and eat then have strength to prepare the soup had planned to prepare today. After I finished eating, I told my mum that I needed to rest, then I bathed and went to go and sleep. I slept that morning and when I stood up, I left the house to go and buy soft drink and drink.

When I came back home, my mum said we should cook the soup on Sunday, I was even waiting for such news so I told her we should do yam and sauce, she agreed but we didn't want to eat in the afternoon. I took my bath and then I I went to go and get yam.

When I got outside, I saw this man pushing beautiful pams in a wheelbarrow, I called him to come so that I can check if I will see a beautiful slippers to buy for myself. When he came, I checked and couldn't see my size but I loved what he was selling. I told him he should bring my size that I was going to buy it.

I bought the yam and came back home, I peeled and boiled the yam then I made palm oil sauce. It's local food we love over here and since this is yam season, yam isn't costly so it's very much affordable to buy it.

When we finished eating, I went to the bathroom and had my bath. Time had gone and I feel there was no point going to bed without at least dropping my diary and yes, I made it to the diary of today. I really appreciate you all for standing by for this. Thanks Pookies, byyyyeeee.
