The Dairy Game: 26/06/2026| From Kitchen to Compound: How I Spent My Morning and Afternoon
By afternoon, I served myself a plate and took a proper break. The spaghetti was hot, tasty, and exactly what I needed after the morning hustle. I ate at my table with a fork in hand, no rush, just enjoying the food I made.
After eating, I stepped outside to clear my head. The weather was calm with a mix of sun and clouds. I had hung clothes on the line earlier, and they were drying in the breeze. The compound felt quiet, green, and peaceful — mango and coconut trees giving some shade, and the day felt unhurried.
Later in the afternoon I had a quick errand around bikes. A few motorcycles were parked outside, some blue, some red and black. One even had a navy sticker on it. It looked like a mechanic’s spot or a place to check on repairs. Just being around them broke up the routine and added a bit of energy to the day.
Morning was about cooking and getting things done. Afternoon was about eating well, resting, and small outdoor tasks. It was a balanced day, food, chores, fresh air, and a little movement.
