CineAtlas 60 | Week 4 - Object as Character | [Colonel Mura]
Steemian Friends,
I'm visiting an archaeological site today as part of the fourth week of filming for CineAtlas 60. I have a travel bag with me when I go on my visits because I carry my clothes, laptop, and a few accessories on my shoulder. This week I've decided to call my travel bag "object is character" because it's very important to me.

I feel very comfortable carrying the bag on my shoulder while visiting the archaeological site. I need a laptop and some clothes for my trip. For the production of a film, the entire team has to go to the archaeological site. The film team carries a travel bag while traveling. I carry my shoulder bag during my trip. I can carry my important laptop in a small bag. You can see the bag on my shoulder when you see the pictures of my visit.

Colonel Mura is the Cumilla Buddhist Temple, two important archaeological and religious monuments located in the Kotbari area of the Comilla district of Bangladesh. These places are known as a shining example of the ancient history, culture, and religious heritage of our country. This archaeological site was discovered during the construction of a road in 1875. Later, the Bangladesh government preserved the site through a museum and the Department of Archaeology. Today I went to visit the archaeological site.
The ruins of several Buddhist monasteries are found here. Colonel Mura is basically the ruins of an ancient Buddhist monastery. It was a place of residence and practice for Buddhist monks long ago. The word “Mura” means a high hill or mound, and this place is also shaped like a high hill. It is believed that it was built between the 7th and 12th centuries AD, when this region was an important center of Buddhism. Various brick structures, ancient walls, rooms, and traces of religious establishments have been found through excavations here. These indicate that it was once a well-planned monastery. The ancient artifacts are currently preserved in the Bangladesh Museum.
It is currently located at the top of Lalmai Hill in Comilla city. The architectural style of Colonel Mura is very interesting. It is like a courtyard surrounded by walls on all sides, with an open space in the middle and rooms around it. These rooms were used by monks to live and meditate. Although the brick walls are now largely destroyed, traces of their old beauty can still be seen. Archaeologists have also found various pottery, ornaments, and religious objects here, which shows that this place was once very prosperous. I visited the archaeological site for 10 taka (1.2 Steem).
Buddhists used to perform regular prayers and religious ceremonies here. The environment of the temple is very peaceful and pleasant. The trees and greenery around make this place more attractive. There is a statue of Buddha installed inside the temple, which visitors can see. The Comilla Cantonment is next to the archaeological site, so the security here is very good. There are some beautiful places for visitors to sit. I take a few pictures with my travel bag on my shoulder.

Evaluation — CineAtlas 60 (Week 4: Object as Character)

Evaluation Summary (Week 4)
Final Score: 7.5 / 10
General Comment
A well-presented and visually rich entry set in a genuinely beautiful location. The travel bag is a creative and personal choice. The main weakness is that the bag never truly becomes the cinematic character it is worn and mentioned, but the film and writing spend most of their energy on the archaeological site. Reversing that balance, making the bag the visual anchor and the monument its backdrop, would have made this a much stronger Week 4 entry.
