Naya Paltan Jame Masjid, Dhaka
Steemian Friends,
Naya Paltan Jame Masjid is an old prayer center in Dhaka, the capital of our country. It was built in 1948. Being the most populous and important place in the capital, Dhaka, many people come to the mosque every day to offer five daily prayers. The mosque is three-story. The mosque has been renovated several times since its establishment. This mosque is one of the few remaining Muslim prayer places. I have shown the location of the mosque below using the Steem-atlas pin code.

In front of the Naya Paltan Jame Masjid
There are several entrances to the mosque. Since Nayapaltan is an important area in the capital, Dhaka, there are numerous markets around the mosque, so people flock there during prayers. The mosque's dome is very beautiful from a distance. The mosque can be identified from a distance by its large dome. There are separate places for men and women to pray in the mosque. There are separate entrance gates for men and women to enter the mosque.
There is a large ablution area at the mosque's entrance gate. Before praying in the mosque, the worshippers perform ablution. In addition, there is a provision for worshippers to drink pure water. There is a washroom next to the ablution area. Small boxes have been placed inside the mosque to store worshippers' shoes. There are stairs to go to the second floor of the mosque. The beauty of the mosque has been enhanced by the installation of electric lights.

The prayer place of the imam of the mosque
I go shopping in Nayapaltan, the capital of Dhaka. At night, I enter the mosque for Isha prayers. After the prayers, I take a few pictures after seeing the beauty of the mosque. There is an office for the mosque's imam. In addition, there are three people who serve the mosque. The inside of the mosque is very clean. Since the head office of a major political party in our country is next to the mosque, there is a lot of pressure from worshippers in the mosque every day.

Entrance gate for women's prayers at the mosque
A prayer space has been created for the Imam in the first row of the Nayapaltan Jame Masjid. The Imam's prayer space has been designed in Arabic. A pulpit has been placed for the Imam to address the worshippers. Standing on the pulpit, the Imam delivers the sermon during the Friday prayer. Books of the Quran and Hadith have been preserved inside the mosque. The call to prayer is given on a microphone during the five daily prayers.
The wall designs have been highlighted by installing electric lights in front of the mosque. The mosque is open for prayers from 4:00 am to 10:30 pm. In addition, a part of the mosque is kept open for Muslims to pray after 10:30 pm. About two thousand people can pray in the mosque at the same time. There is a donation box in front of the mosque to support its development. Since Nayapaltan is an important place, the mosque is a very important place of prayer for Muslims.
