The Diary Game: Going To Work And Spending My Friday Evening With My Children (05-12-2025)

Seasons greetings everyone. How are you feeling? Hope you are all doing great. I'm Uduak Nathaniel but my steemit username is @mamauduak. I'm a new comer on this platform. I'll be making my diary entry. Today, woke up early as usual, to prepare my kids for school and also go to work. They had noodles for breakfast and my second daughter made it. After having breakfast, we all left the house together.

Today just felt like Saturday and I don't really know why. The street was very quiet and lonely. It stood by the rod for over fifteen minutes, I couldn't find a bus. I had to order Bolt to get to the office. The manager was already in by the time I got to the office.

It's weekend so I didn't have a lot of clients waiting. There were few people that came to withdraw their savings from their savings account. After filling their forms and checking thier biometrics, they got their money.

At the office

My work buddy came around to gist with me. She told me that she overheard the boss talking about transferring her to another branch in Port Harcourt. We knew that there will be transferring some of our staffs to the new office at Port Harcourt but I never thought she would be among. I was already missing her. Well, she got lunch for me. It was rice, beans and yam.

Brunch

Unlike other days, today we closed really early from work. I got to the house by 4:36 pm. My children were so excited to see me. My first daughter has prepared rice for dinner. I bought each of them a bottle of Pepsi.

My children finished their exams today, so they're told me about their upcoming Christmas party. The presentations and clothes they were awake to put on. I spent the rest of my evening with my family. Thank you for reading.
