"SLC31-W4 // Steem Expedition, Hidden Gems and Local Secrets: Curiosities and Rarities
ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّٰهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
Dear friends, I hope you are all well. I am also Alhamdulillah, by Allah's countless mercy, doing very well. The 31st season contest is ongoing, and in this season, in the fourth week, dear brother @oswaldocuarta has discussed a beautiful topic. I will sincerely thank him because he has given us such an opportunity, and we want to present this topic very beautifully, so let's go.
Dear friends, in line with this contest, I will discuss with you an old building in a government place called Quarter Place. Around this building, there are trees and a beautiful natural environment. But the building has become abandoned, and there is no system suitable for living here. If I first show you the surroundings and the environment of the building
If I introduce this place to you from the beginning, I will explain in detail: To visit, you need to go to Bogura District located in North Bengal, Bangladesh. From the urban area of Bogura District, that is, from the main town, you need to come to the staff quarters area. Then, this staff quarters area is roughly quite large, meaning there are several buildings with allocated spaces for plants and trees. In the staff quarters, there is a mosque, and next to it is this building.
The side of this building has become so overgrown with forest that it seems like no one lives there. The truth is, actually, no one lives here. But to be honest, some of the poor people from the surrounding areas have settled here. Among them, a few people live here, but with great difficulty. Because all around is a completely deserted area with trees and shrubs. Additionally, the buildings are very old and dilapidated. The people who live here do so with the permission of the authorities. I am showing you some of the abandoned forest areas of the building.

When I went there, it was morning, and at that time, while I was photographing there, I saw a woman. She is an elderly person. Seeing her, it seemed that she was a sick person, and also she is elderly. I asked her if they live here. She said that we live here with great difficulty because we have no home. Additionally, we have taken a lot of permission from the administration to stay here. There are trees around this building; although it is a jungle, the natural environment looks very beautiful.

This place is beautiful to look at, and to enjoy wandering around and playing nearby. However, at night there is no security, and it is easy to engage in unethical activities on my site there. Also, nighttime is a bit tough for those who stay here. I have tried to take pictures all around as much as I could, but there is no option to go inside. I have also recorded a video, which I have attached below.
1_. ¿Cómo diste con esta curiosidad o rareza? ¿O es algo que siempre habías visto.
This is a great question. I will answer this question. Right now, it doesn’t seem particularly curious to me because I have been observing it for the past two years. However, when I first saw it two years ago, I was really very surprised about why it is like this. The buildings are very strong because these older buildings were constructed very solidly. These were made for the officials and those who were in charge back then. But now it has naturally become a public place where people can walk around but cannot stay. To me, it seems normal now because I have been observing it for the past two to three years.
2_. ¿Cuál es la historia o la explicación de esta rareza?
According to the stories and history I have heard on television and the various information I have been able to learn, this strange building in this strange place was constructed in 1980, and government officials used to come here and reside here when they were on duty. However, over time, with more advanced locations being established, this place was abandoned. As a result, it has become a place for sports, wandering, and enjoying nature. The buildings have become abandoned, and arrangements have been made for the poor to live here in whatever limited way possible.
3_. ¿Qué es lo más loco que has escuchado decir a los vecinos o habitantes de la zona sobre este sitio?
Answering this question is a bit difficult for us because it hasn't been criticized much, and nothing strange has happened here, but recently I witnessed a strange incident. The day I went to do photography, several more buildings had been built here, all the buildings are almost the same. There I saw that on the third floor of one building, school and college students behaved immorally. And the residents complained about it; this has happened many times before because there is no security system here.
4_. Si tú fueras el encargado de bautizar esta rareza, ¿qué nombre divertido le pondrías?
To answer this question, I have to be a scientist; I have to be a very big advertisement. Still, according to my personal knowledge, I should set up something that will be fun as has as I can. Its current name is very good, like Staff Quarters. But it should be given a name that is terrifying and instills fear. Its name is (No Entry Villa) 🥹
