Rajajhir Dhigi, Feni
Hello friends. Today I have come with you with a review of a big pond. Feni district is located between Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh and the commercial city of Chittagong. And this pond is located in the center of this Feni district, i.e. in the Zero Point area. So, you can visit this place called Rajajhir Dighi while taking a break in Feni during your trip to Dhaka and Chittagong. It is a very beautiful place to spend time.

It is mainly located in Feni Sadar Upazila. It is known from the local people that about 500 to 700 years ago, the beloved daughter of a king of the Tripura dynasty was blind. The king dug this big pond in the hope of removing her blindness. And then the daughter was locally called Jhi and from there the word Rajajhir comes. Then it came to be known as Rajajhir Dighi.

After the independence war of Bangladesh, that is, when it was a state called East Pakistan, Feni district was established here. And at that time, the headquarters of this district was basically built on the banks of this Rajajhir Dighi. And from there, today's Feni or Feni Sadar was formed here. This district was originally developed on the banks of the Dighi. The total area of the Dighi can be about 10 to 12 acres.

What I like the most is that there is a walk-way around the Dighi, that is, a wide space has been created for walking and these have been very beautifully arranged. Numerous trees have been planted on both sides, some of which are flower trees and fruit trees. Special places have been created on both sides of the walking area after a while, and doors have been given every now and then to exit the walking area, that is, gates have been given. And arrangements have been made here so that visitors can come here and spend their time peacefully.

And there are numerous shops like traditional fairs on the banks of the Dighi, from where you can buy many necessary and home decoration items. Inside this Dighi, a special place has been made with wood around it for fishing. Fishing competitions are held here at different times and a special wooden path has been made to go to the fishing spots or walk along it, which I find incredibly beautiful.

If you travel to this wide pond, you will enjoy it a lot. Especially the views from one side of the pond to the other are very extraordinary. When the shadow of the blue sky falls on the water, a different feeling comes and peace comes to mind. There is mainly shade here in the afternoon, so locals and people from far and wide come here to enjoy the fresh air and have a good time.

On the banks of the pond, there is the Feni Model Police Station, a mosque and an officers' club, and a children's park. These important places can also be visited here. Especially the little ones can spend time and have fun in the children's park here. Those who are mainly history lovers and local culture and nature lovers, mainly like to enjoy these beauties and they mainly come here. Besides, since it is located in the city, you can visit here for any work in the city. Moreover, you can spend time in a quiet environment in the afternoon and watch the sunset here.

There are numerous food hotels on both sides of the pond, where you can actually eat and drink and residential hotels, where you can actually spend the night. There are also numerous shopping malls nearby, from where you can shop. You can take any bus going to Dhaka-Chittagong and get off at the place called Mahipal Bus Stand in Feni and get off at the bank of the pond adjacent to the zero point of Feni by rickshaw or CNG. And if you have come by train, you can get off at Feni Railway Station and from there you can take a rickshaw or walk here. It may take you 5 to 10 minutes to walk.
