The Diary Game: How I spent my Saturday working without rest.(17-1-2026)

Hello everyone, my name is name is Purity Okon but my user name on steemit is @ purity. My alarm clock ring this morning by 5am, which am the One that set it, the reason for that was so I can wake up by that time, hit the road for my morning work out since today is Saturday, I called my coach after dressing up, but he said, he is not strong enough to go for jogging, I felt bad, but I understand him, health is wealth, so I just do some stretching at home instead of letting my energy waste, after that I read my Bible and pray, it was still dark outside so I say let me lye down a bit and plan my day, but I doze off in the process.

The sound of my phone wake me again, this time around it was not alarm but a call from our youth president in church, I call him papa, when I picked the call he asked if am not coming for fasting, that was when I remember that our four days fasting is starting today, I told him yes and he said I should bring oil perfume for him while coming and I should come before 8am, I agreed, only for me to go back to sleep because I was awake all through the night reading, so my head was so heavy that I needed rest, waking up and check time it was past 8am I Rush up from bed, brush, check my night wear to something nice and rush out, but on getting there I was told he left already because he had test that morning.

I felt bad that I disappoint my first customer that day, but when I get to church the fasting have not commence yet, but my fellow students were stay, because the fasting is for students fellowship, so we just exchange pleasantries, and start singing while waiting for others to come, we were still singing when I felt this sharp pain in my stomach, I went out because it was not something I could bear, I was standing outside when I felt like to use the toilet, ah! I run home because is not far from church, I got home use the toilet and went back, getting there, they were I just joined them and everything went well.

After the closing of the service on my way home one of my customers who I sew cloth for call me that her cloth is too tight for her I should come home and adjust, my face change because I know how stressful it will be to loose that cloth and sew again, but I summon courage, arrive home she was there already waiting for me, I first of all apologize for the inconveniences, it took me three hours to loose that cloth and adjust it, I was so tired already by the time I was done, but I dragged my self out from the chair, pack my dirty clothes outside because it was Saturday and I need to clean up my room too, my cousin help me fetch water because she saw how tired I was, I wash my clothes,.dey them and went out to buy something for breakfast.

At first I was confused on what to buy, but when I get to the shop I saw yam and potatoes and it been a while I eat that, so I buy yam and potatoes, scent leaf and other ingredients I will be needing for my food, got home I start preparing my food,it took me a while to finish cooking, after that I took my bath because I couldn't bath in the morning, so I did that after cooking I ate, I wanted to sleep after eating but I remember my choir uniform is not iron, so I did that, I didn't notice how time flies it was already time for choir rehearsal, oh my God! No time to rest again I changed because I was on home wear, start going to church for rehearsal, came back late because we had meeting after the rehearsal.

I got home so tired, all I wanted was rest but my cousin refused to let me sleep she keeps playing loud music shouting, it annoy me so much that I went outside to warn her only for me to go outside and see them dancing, I asked what is going on and was told that one of my neighbor's football club win today, hmmmmmmm, so they begged me to follow them stay outside, I joined them and enter inside do late. See me that planned to rest the whole of today.
