The Diary Game: [03-04-2026] My Good Friday In Plates And Tiles

Hello my fellow steem mate, I am @quinnesther popularly known as Esther Ndarake as my steemit username. I have another interesting gist for you guys again today. My today has been so wonderful from one thing to the other as you guys may have it today is actually good Friday Easter and happy Easter to you all pookie . At first I woke up this morning thanking God for another day of my life. but I didn't really wake up early like other days because I was seeing a movie so I slept very late last night and woke up very late since it was raining early this morning, so when I woke up I was so hungry then I decided to go to a little market close to us to get a few items for pepper soup since it was raining but I waited for the rain to subside but the hungry was hitting me so hard that I couldn't wait anymore so I had to borrowed my roommate's umbrella to the market so when I got there just few sellers came out to the market to sell because of the rain. So I walked around looking for where I can get the items for my pepper soup. Finally I got all the things I needed then headed back home.

When I got home I proceeded in making my rice and pepper soup for breakfast because the weather was so cool. So I started by washing my meat then after washing I put them in the pot then put all my seasoning ingredients and then put it on the fire for some time, then after it boil for like thirty minutes I added more water that will be a enough for the rice I was about to cook after making the pepper soup, so I added my saint leave and allow it to boil again for sometime before you know my pepper soup was ready, after that I put my Rice in the pot parboiled it and brought it down for washing after washing it I put it back on the fire added small salt then allow it to cook after everything, few minutes later my breakfast was ready.

Then after I had my breakfast, off course since it was a rainy day the weather was cool so after eating I slept off again and end up waking up in the afternoon so when I got up I boiled a little water to bath after bathing a friend of mine came over to my place, when she came, she asked me to go escort her to see her new apartment she had rented but had paid workers to fix tiles in the rooms, I actually buy the Idea to go with her cause I have been at home the whole day and I was already feeling bored so I went with her.

So when we got there the guys were still working and to be honest the work was really impressive and they were doing a great job, after that we decided to move round the house to see how far they've gone so after inspecting the work we stayed around to have a chit chat so we gist and gist until it was almost getting dark.

Then we prepare to leave but decided to inspect again to see how far the workers might have gone but to our greatest surprised they were already done fixing the tiles. So my friend and I exchanged pleasantries and we left, so I headed back home happy cause it was an exciting day for me at least feeding my eyes with the good work that was done by the tillers and the little jokes which made us laughed our ribs out.
