There are certain places that can calm your heart the moment you step into them for me, one such place is the Harivanga Mango Garden in my home region.
The gentle breeze, the endless rows of mango trees, and the sweet smell of ripening fruits make this place feel like heaven on earth. Every time I visit, I feel as if the world slows down a little giving me space to breathe, think, and reconnect with nature.
Harivanga is a special variety of mango that has made Rangpur famous across Bangladesh. Its unique flavor sweet, juicy, and aromatic can capture anyone’s heart at the first bite. These mangoes are not just fruits; they are a part of our culture and pride.
During the harvesting season, the gardens come alive with the sounds of laughter and activity. Farmers climb the trees, baskets fill up with golden fruits, and the air smells of freshness and joy. It’s a sight that reminds me how close our lives are to nature and how deeply we are connected to the land we come from.
When I walk through the mango garden in the afternoon, sunlight filters softly through the green leaves. Sometimes I sit under a big tree, close my eyes, and listen to the rustle of leaves, the chirping of birds, and the quiet footsteps of farmers moving between the trees.
