Assalamu Alaikum, I'm @toufiq777
Today I will post about a chicken shop in the biggest market in our area. This chicken shop is located in Adhunik Paur Sabji Bazar. The name of this shop is Md. Badsha. This shop opens at 10 am and closes at 10 pm. Every morning, different types of chickens come here from different places. Local chickens are brought to their shop from the village households. Besides, foreign chickens are brought from farms. For example, boiler chickens, Pakistani cock chickens, layer chickens, etc. are brought to their shop. Thousands of chickens start coming to their shop from different places in the early morning. They arrange the chickens in sections. And the shop staff keeps telling the customers, "Come, we have good quality chicken".

And whenever a customer comes. They ask to buy local chicken. The price of local chicken is 550 taka per kg. But not everyone can afford to buy chicken at such a price. Good chicken is available in this shop of Modern Municipal Vegetable Market. They do not cheat people. Many shopkeepers promise to give local chicken but give Pakistani chicken. This is a shop I know. When I buy chicken, I buy it from this shop. So they always give me good chicken. And they give good service. For this reason, most of the people who come to the market buy chicken from their shop.

Now let's discuss the different types of chickens in this shop-
Local breed chickens
The chickens that are raised in the home in a natural environment are called local breed chickens. These chickens have high immunity. These chickens lay only 8 to 10 eggs. They give birth twice a year. Due to this, the production of these chickens is low. Moreover, these chickens take 4-5 months to grow. And they collect food from nature and eat it. The people of the house feed these chickens with rice, wheat, corn and paddy. These chickens are not given any kind of fattening vaccination. Since these chickens take a long time to grow. And these chickens are not fattened through any kind of vaccination. That is why the price of these chickens is high. Eating these chickens will not cause any disease in your body. The price of 1 kg of this domestic breed of chicken is 550 taka currently.

Boylar is a foreign breed of chicken. These chickens grow very quickly. These chickens are fed various types of fattening vaccines and food. There are Boiler chicken farms in different places in Bangladesh. These chickens weigh from 100 grams to 1500-2000 grams in just 35-40 days. These chickens are given various types of vaccines in their bodies when they are small. Due to this, these chickens grow quickly. However, these chickens do not have any immunity. They do not live more than 50 days. They have to be marketed quickly. And sold. These chickens cannot tolerate excessive heat. The price of this boiler chicken is 150-180 tk kg. Since this boiler is within the purchasing power of the common people, its demand is very high in the market. However, if you eat this chicken, you can get various diseases. Since 50% of our people in Bangladesh have low income, they buy this chicken despite knowing everything. The price of 1 kg of this chicken is only 150 tk. At that price, you can get only 275 grams of local breed chicken.

People of different classes and professions live in Bangladesh. Not everyone has the same per capita income. Most of the people in our Bangladesh are from the lower income group. However, the prices of all products in our Bangladesh are comparatively high. So even if everyone wants, they cannot eat good food. And after only five-six days, Eid-ul-Fitr. On the occasion of Eid, everyone goes to the market to buy chicken. Everyone buys the chicken of their choice as much as they can. I went to that market on March 11. My mother asked me to buy one kilogram of local breed chicken. So I went to Md. Badsha chicken shop. And I bought two chickens from there for 480 tk. I slaughtered the chickens there. And I cleaned the chicken skins. Then I went home with the chickens.
