Assalamualaikum my Steemians friends. Hope you’re all doing great wherever you are. In this post, I’d like to share my personal experience visiting my trusted repair shop as part of The Steemit Challenge Season 29 Week 4: Repair Shop. This place may look simple, but it holds something far more valuable than fancy tools, trust, honesty, and real skill.

Mandalika Motor is my go-to repair shop, not because it is big or luxurious, but because it is built on trust, honesty, and real mechanical skills. This workshop is owned and run directly by the mechanic himself, someone I have known personally for years. We used to play futsal together long before he became fully dedicated to the world of motorcycle repair. Seeing his journey from the field to the workshop makes this place feel even more meaningful to me.

The Owner

What makes this workshop special is the feeling of safety and transparency. Honestly speaking, this is one of the very few places where I can let go of the attach my key, sit back, and not worry about being overcharged or misled. There is no fear of unnecessary part replacements, no hidden costs, and no exaggerated damage reports. Everything is explained clearly, in simple language, and always with honest intentions.

Mandalika Motor offers various services such as oil changes, routine servicing, restoration, modification, and battery charging (cas batre). Even though the workshop may look simple and does not display a complete range of spare parts, the service quality is far from basic. The owner has strong connections with spare-part suppliers and partner workshops. Whenever a specific part is needed, he simply gets it from those trusted sources and continues the work in his own workshop. This system makes things easier for customers, no wasted time, no unnecessary hassle.

The owner’s skills come from years of hands-on experience. He understands motorcycles not just as machines, but as systems that require balance, precision, and care.
The workshop itself may look simple, but it is well-organized and efficient. Spare parts and oils are neatly arranged, tools are ready, and customers are treated with respect. Many people come not only because of the affordable prices, but because they trust the service. Some customers even wait patiently just to have their vehicles handled here instead of going elsewhere.

Built in by him

A strong proof of his expertise is the motorcycle he rides himself a bike that he built and customized with his own hands. When a mechanic confidently rides his own custom-built motorcycle, it speaks volumes about his workmanship and responsibility.

The motorcycle you see in this photo is not factory-made perfection, it is a machine built by hands, experience, and passion. This bike was fully customized and assembled by him, piece by piece, with careful calculation and strong mechanical sense. From the solid stance, the clean handle setup, to the aggressive front look, everything reflects his personal touch as a mechanic who truly understands balance, safety, and aesthetics. This is not about showing off; it’s about proving skill. Riding a motorcycle you built yourself requires confidence and deep knowledge, and this bike represents exactly that.

For me, this build is living evidence that I am leaving my vehicle in the right hands. When someone can build his own motorcycle to this level, you know he will treat customers’ vehicles with the same precision and responsibility. This is craftsmanship backed by honesty and that’s rare.

The atmosphere at Mandalika Motor is relaxed and friendly. Customers often sit, chat, and wait comfortably while their motorcycles are being serviced. It feels less like a business transaction and more like visiting a trusted friend who happens to be a skilled mechanic.
