A Smooth and Comfortable Tax Payment Experience at SAMSAT Lhokseumawe

Good morning, friends. Today I want to share a different kind of review, not about coffee, but about a public service experience when I went to pay my car tax at SAMSAT Lhokseumawe.

As soon as I arrived, the building was easy to recognize from the main road. The parking area was spacious, and the entrance was clearly marked.

After stepping inside, I immediately headed to the registration counter . The officers were polite and directed me without confusion. The information boards above each counter made the flow of the process very clear, even for first-time visitors.

From the registration desk, my documents were checked and verified. The process didn’t take long because everything was organized in sequence. After that, I was directed to the verification counter. Here, the staff rechecked the vehicle documents and confirmed the tax details. What I liked most was how systematic the process felt, no rushing, no overlapping queues, and no uncertainty about where to go next.

Waiting the process

The service room at SAMSAT Lhokseumawe looks neat, well-organized, and quite comfortable for a public service office. The waiting area is furnished with long, cushioned bench sofas arranged in rows, providing enough space between visitors so the room never feels crowded while waiting for their turn.

The lighting is bright and evenly distributed from the ceiling, creating a clean and professional atmosphere. The service counters are separated by tall transparent glass partitions, allowing clear communication while maintaining order and security.

Once the verification was complete, I moved to the payment counter. This is the part many people are usually curious about: how the tax payment process actually works. At the payment counter, the officer informed me of the exact amount I needed to pay. After making the payment, I received the proof of payment and the updated validation for my vehicle registration. Everything was handled transparently, and the officers explained each step clearly.

After making the payment, I was given a tax payment receipt to use as a temporary travel document. I was then asked to return two weeks later to collect the updated vehicle registration (STNK) and the new tax validation.

The entire process, from registration to payment, felt smoother than I expected. The room was clean, air-conditioned, and equipped with clear signage for each service desk. Even though there were several people waiting, the queue moved steadily without long delays.

Few days ago, I did a power down because I had an important need to take care of paying my car tax at SAMSAT Lhokseumawe.
