Beeje Coffee
Last Friday, after performing Friday prayer at Baiturrahman Mosque in Lhokseumawe, I met my good friend, Reza. It had been a long time since we last met, so we decided to spend some time together. He invited me to have coffee at a place where he usually hangs out, a cafe called Beeje Coffee.
Honestly, I rarely drink coffee here. I usually prefer simple, bitter black coffee. Beje Coffee feels more like a premium cafe. When you arrive, you park your vehicle, walk straight to the cashier, choose your drink, and pay immediately. The place looks clean, modern, and comfortable, suitable for casual meetings or short hangouts after prayer.
Because I didn’t know their favorite menu, I just followed what Reza ordered. He chose a drink called “On The Rock.” It is a raspberry coffee mix, quite similar to sanger espresso, but with a slightly different twist. The taste was interesting , a combination of sweet, fresh raspberry flavor with a mild bitterness from the coffee. Not too strong, not too light.

For someone like me who loves bitter coffee, this drink felt a bit different, but still enjoyable. It was refreshing and smooth, especially for a relaxed afternoon conversation. Sitting there, chatting after prayer, and enjoying a cup of coffee made the moment feel simple but meaningful.

My Review
Beeje Coffee Cafe is a simple place to enjoy coffee. The cafe is not very large, but it feels comfortable and well-arranged. The open-air design allows natural air to flow freely, making the atmosphere more relaxed. Beside the cafe, there is a small garden owned by local residents, which adds a fresh and calm feeling to the place.
For take away order
The ordering system is straightforward. After parking, customers go directly to the cashier, choose their menu, and make payment immediately. This system feels practical and suitable for people who want to enjoy coffee without spending too much time waiting.

We tried the On The Rock menu. It is a raspberry-based coffee drink with a unique taste. The flavor is slightly sweet with a light bitterness at the end. It reminds me of sanger espresso, but with a different and more modern touch. Even though I usually prefer bitter black coffee, this drink was still enjoyable for a casual conversation.

Overall, Beeje Coffee Cafe is a nice spot to meet friends or take a short break after Friday prayer. The place may be simple, but the open-air concept and surrounding greenery make the experience pleasant.
