Exploring SMA Negeri 1 Lhokseumawe – The Favorite School with a Cool and Peaceful Vibe

Assalamualaikum my stemian friends, today I would like to share you my short visit to SMAN 1 Lhokseumawe.
A few days ago, I visited SMA Negeri 1 Lhokseumawe during their celebration of Maulid Nabi. This school is known as one of the most favorite high schools in the city, and interestingly, many graduates from SMP Negeri 2 Lhokseumawe continue their studies here.

I walked through the main gate, a sense of calmness greeted me. On the left stood the security post,

To the right, there was a spacious parking area for teachers’ cars and students’ motorcycles.

On the left side another parking area stretched out. In the far corner stood Mushalla An-Nur, a beautiful small mosque that place for performing prayer for students and teachers..

Walking further through the entrance path, I passed by the main lobby and the teacher-on-duty desk, where teachers supervise and help maintain discipline.
In the Second floor hall, I joined the lunch together with some teachers and guests. The food was delicious, and the warm hospitality made the day even more special (I didnt take any shoot here) . When I finished eating, I took my phone and captured a few photos of the surroundings. From every angle, the school looked bright, fresh, and full of life, the kind of place that makes learning feel inspiring and peaceful at the same time..

The school buildings stand proudly with two floors, arranged in a rectangular shape that encloses a large central courtyard. This courtyard becomes the heart of the school, a lively space where students gather, relax, and share stories between classes..

The courtyard is also connected to three main sports fields: basketball, volleyball, and futsal courts. These multi-purpose fields are often used for morning flag ceremonies, physical education classes, and inter-class competitions.

In front of the teachers’ office, there are some metal boards displaying the names of student organizations such as Pramuka, PMR, and Rohis, reminding everyone that learning here goes far beyond the classroom. Leadership, teamwork, and service are all part of the students’ daily life..

Outside the main gate, a long bus stop shelter stretches along the front area. Every afternoon, this is where students wait to be picked up after school. It’s a simple yet warm scene, groups of friends chatting, joking, and sharing stories about their day.
In the end, visiting SMA Negeri 1 Lhokseumawe felt like stepping into a place where knowledge and nature walk hand in hand. The trees whisper calmness, the laughter of students fills the air, and every corner breathes the spirit of learning.
Thanks for reading, Actually I didnt make a detail shoots of the facilities of school such as the toilets, teacher room, library, laboratory, as I did in my previous post. .
