Having Ice Americano coffee at Datok Kuphi

Yesterday was quite an emotional day for me and my family. Earlier in the morning, I returned to my hometown after hearing the sad news that my aunt had passed away. After the funeral prayer and burial process were completed, we immediately continued our journey back to Lhokseumawe.
On the way home, we stopped in Ulee Gle to have lunch at a local restaurant called Blang Dalam. After eating and taking a short rest, I moved to the café next door, Datok Kuphi.

The cafe has a simple but very comfortable atmosphere. The place feels open, clean, and relaxing, making it suitable for resting during a long trip. I also liked the modern industrial-style design combined with a calm outdoor view. Even though it was quite busy, the atmosphere still felt peaceful.

Many visitors were sitting casually while enjoying coffee and conversations with friends. The seating arrangement is spacious, and the open-air concept makes the cafe feel cool and enjoyable, especially in the afternoon.

One thing that caught my attention was how comfortable the place felt for travelers who needed a short break before continuing their journey. Sometimes, after a tiring and emotional day, a quiet place and a cup of coffee can help calm the mind.

I spent some time there simply relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere. The staff were friendly, and the service was also quite good. Overall, it was a nice place to stop by during the trip back home.

One thing that caught my attention was the barista space. The coffee corner looks clean and well organized with modern coffee equipment. I could see the barista preparing drinks carefully and professionally. Even though the café has a simple concept, the coffee-making area gives a modern and cozy impression.

I ordered two cups of iced Americano and one cup of hot Milo for take away and continue my trip. The iced Americano tasted fresh and strong, perfect for relaxing after a tiring journey. Meanwhile, the hot Milo felt warm and comforting, especially with the cloudy afternoon atmosphere. The service was also friendly, and the drinks were served quite quickly.
