After visiting my sister checking the flood situation around PIM this afternoon, we decided to make a quick stop for lunch at Mie Gacoan Lhokseumawe, one of the newest and most popular food spots in town right now.

When we arrived, the first thing I noticed was the parking area, surprisingly spacious, well-organized, and easy to access. It immediately gave a good first impression, especially for a place that’s always packed with visitors.
We parked our motorcycle and headed straight inside. The entrance felt lively: bright lights, cheerful vibes, and the sound of people enjoying their spicy meals.

After paying, the cashier handed us two things:
a receipt, and a small square-shaped buzzer device, similar to a card. When it lights up and vibrates with a “beep-beep!”, that means our meals are ready to be picked up from the food counter near the kitchen. It’s a simple and efficient system, especially with so many customers inside at the same time.

While waiting, I took a moment to enjoy the atmosphere. The interior is modern and clean, wooden tables, smart layout, and a fresh touch of greenery hanging on the walls. Families, students, kids, all kinds of people were here, creating such a fun dining energy. You can even see the chefs cooking through the open-kitchen concept, which makes the experience feel even more fresh and exciting.

Soon enough, our buzzer started flashing. Time to grab the noodles! We picked up the trays, noodles steaming hot with crispy toppings, dim sum neatly arranged, and iced tea ready to cool down the spicy kick.

The first bite? Delicious. Level 1 already had enough heat to wake up the taste buds, while still being friendly for the kids. The dim sum was a perfect side: crunchy outside, soft inside. And of course, the iced tea was the hero that saved us from the flames.

What made this visit even more special was sharing the moment together. Kids enjoying their drinks, noodles disappearing fast, and everyone focused on their food, that’s when you know it’s good!
Price-wise, Mie Gacoan is one of those places where you can have a satisfying family meal without worrying too much. Our total was only 52,499 IDR, a great deal for a fun lunch-in experience.
