Hello My stemian friends,I hope you are all doing well today. I’d like to share a simple story from an unplanned evening, one that started with a hospital visit and ended with a quiet, comforting dinner at Roemantara.
That night was never meant to be about food. At first, we only planned to visit a friend who was being treated at the hospital. No dinner plan, no cafe hunting, just a simple visit and then going home.

After leaving the hospital. On the way back, curiosity took over. We passed a cafe called Roemantara, and something about the place caught our attention. Maybe it was the warm light, maybe the quiet atmosphere, or maybe we were just hungry without realizing it. So, without much discussion, we decided to stop.

Stepping inside Roemantara felt comforting. The interior was warm and simple, with a homey vibe that instantly made us relax. It didn’t feel like a crowded cafe, but more like a peaceful place to sit down, breathe, and enjoy a slow meal after an emotionally heavy visit.

It felt like a private dinner, just for us. At that time, we were the only guests in the cafe. Roemantara is usually quite busy during the day, but that night was different. We arrived around 9 p.m., and slowly realized that we were the last visitors of the day.

Having Dinner

Walking out of Roemantara, it felt like leaving a home rather than a cafe. There was no rush, no noise, only a sense of completeness after a long day. What started as an unplanned stop ended as a peaceful closing to the night.
Closing
Sometimes, the best moments don’t need long plans or special occasions. A simple meal, a quiet space, and the right timing are enough. That night, Roemantara gave us exactly that.
