After visiting the Aermi Parfum agent in Lhokseumawe and picking up my newly ready package, I decided to stop for Maghrib prayer at Masjid Al Ikhlas in Batuphat. The mosque is located on the main road connecting Medan and Banda Aceh, so it is very easy to find and access.
From the outside, the mosque looks beautiful and impressive, especially in the evening. The lights make the building look bright and welcoming. The domes and the tall minaret add a strong Islamic atmosphere. When I arrived, many people were also coming to pray, but the situation was still well organized.

Before entering the prayer hall, I went to the wudhu area. I was happy to see that the place was very clean and well maintained. The floor was dry, the water was clear, and the area did not smell bad. This shows that the management really cares about cleanliness and comfort for worshippers.

Inside the mosque, the atmosphere is very calm and peaceful. The prayer hall is spacious, bright, and tidy. The air feels fresh, and the lighting is soft and relaxing. When the adhan was called, everyone became quiet and focused. It was easy to concentrate and pray sincerely.
Magrib prayer
During the Maghrib prayer, I felt very comfortable and calm. There was no noise, no disturbance, and no rush. The imam’s voice was clear and soothing, which made the prayer more meaningful.
One thing that I really liked is the parking area. The yard isnt so wide but well arranged. Motorcycles and cars are parked neatly, so it does not feel crowded or messy. This makes visitors feel comfortable and safe when leaving their vehicles.

In my opinion, Masjid Al Ikhlas is a very good place for worship, especially for travelers who pass this road. The strategic location, clean facilities, organized parking area, and peaceful atmosphere make this mosque special.
