Performing Ashar Prayer at Raudhatul Jannah mosque on my way to Lhoksukon

On our way back to Lhoksukon, the sound of the Asr adhan echoed softly from a distance. The afternoon sky was bright and calm, and we decided to stop for a while at Raudhatul Jannah Mosque in Alue Awe. From outside, the mosque immediately caught our attention with its large blue domes and grand architecture. Even though some parts of the building still looked unfinished, the mosque already stood beautifully and majestically in the middle of the area.

As we entered the mosque yard, the atmosphere felt peaceful. The parking area was spacious, and the mosque also provided clean facilities such as toilets and a comfortable place for wudhu. The surrounding area was neat, with small trees and open space that made the environment feel fresh under the warm afternoon sun.

Inside the mosque, the view became even more stunning. The high ceiling, decorated dome, and detailed Islamic ornaments created a very calming atmosphere. Sunlight entered softly through the windows, making the interior feel warm and serene. The large prayer hall gave a sense of comfort and tranquility. A few people were already sitting quietly, preparing for prayer, while others were reading the Qur’an peacefully.

What I personally liked the most was the feeling of calmness inside the mosque. Sometimes, during a long journey, we only think about reaching our destination quickly. But stopping at a mosque like this reminds us to slow down, pray, and reconnect with Allah for a moment. The sound of the adhan, the cool atmosphere, and the peaceful environment made the short stop feel very meaningful.

Raudhatul Jannah Mosque is not only a place for prayer, but also a beautiful landmark in Alue Awe. Its unique architecture and relaxing atmosphere make it a nice place to rest during a journey. Hopefully, this mosque will continue to grow and become one of the iconic Islamic destinations in the area.
Alhamdulillah, a simple stop during travel turned into a beautiful reminder that every journey becomes more meaningful when we make time for prayer and gratitude.
