Before the holy month of Ramadan, I visited Masjid Baitussalihin Ulee Kareng with my son to perform Isha prayer. It was a calm and beautiful night. The mosque looked very stunning from the outside. The white building stands proudly under the night sky, and the lights make it shine softly. The domes and arches give a strong Islamic atmosphere. From the front yard, the mosque already feels peaceful and welcoming.
The parking area is wide and comfortable. There is plenty of space for cars and motorcycles. We did not have to worry about finding a spot. Everything is well organized, and the environment feels safe. Around the mosque, there are trees and small plants that make the area look fresh and green.
Ablution Area
Before entering the prayer hall, we went to the ablution area. The wudhu place is clean and neat. The red color in the ablution area makes it look unique and easy to notice. The water flows smoothly, and the floor is not slippery. It feels comfortable to prepare for prayer there. Clean facilities like this make worship more peaceful.
When we entered the mosque, I was amazed by the interior. The prayer hall is spacious and very clean. The pillars are strong and beautifully designed. The ceiling has nice patterns that make the mosque look elegant. The atmosphere inside is quiet and calm, perfect for praying and reflecting.
The first thing that catches the eye is the mihrab. It stands tall in the center with detailed carvings and soft golden lighting. The design is very artistic and elegant. The green and gold patterns around the mihrab create a calm Islamic atmosphere. It feels warm and peaceful when you look at it. Next to the mihrab, the mimbar also looks beautiful. It is made of wood with classic carvings, simple but very graceful. The mimbar adds a traditional touch to the modern structure of the mosque.
The pillars inside the mosque are big and strong. They support the high ceiling and make the hall look grand. The combination of cream, gold, and green colors makes the interior look luxurious but still comfortable. The floor is shiny and clean, reflecting the lights from above. Some people are sitting quietly, making dhikr or waiting for prayer time. The atmosphere feels calm and respectful.
One of the most interesting parts is the dome ceiling. From the picture, we can clearly see that the ceiling of the dome is not finished yet. The structure is still visible, and the surface looks dark and incomplete. Even though it is still under construction, it shows how big and magnificent the dome will be once it is completed. We can imagine how beautiful it will look with full decoration and lighting in the future.
Although the mosque is still in the development stage, it already gives a strong sense of beauty and serenity. The combination of art, structure, and spiritual atmosphere makes this mosque special. When the construction is fully completed, Masjid Baitussalihin Ulee Kareng will surely become one of the most stunning mosques in the area.

Insha Allah, this Ramadan I want to pray Taraweeh in this mosque. I can imagine how beautiful and lively it will be. The mosque will be full of people, families coming together, children walking with their parents, and rows of worshippers standing side by side in prayer. The atmosphere will feel warm, crowded, but full of peace.
Ramadan always brings a different feeling to every mosque, and I believe this one will be very special. The lights, the voices of recitation, and the spirit of togetherness will make the nights more meaningful. May Allah allow me and my family to return here in Ramadan and pray Taraweeh together. Insha Allah
