Let’s Refresh Our Childhood Memories

Sometimes a person does not need big things to feel happy. A small candy, a simple lollipop, or a sweet treat can suddenly take us back to childhood memories. Today when I placed these three items on the table—a small candy, a cookie lollipop, and a jelly rope—it honestly reminded me of my childhood days.
When we were kids and went to a small shop, we usually had only a few rupees in our pockets. Maybe five or ten rupees, but even with that little money we felt very happy. We would stand in front of the shopkeeper for a long time thinking about which candy to buy. Sometimes we chose based on the colorful wrapper, and sometimes we bought the same one our friends were eating.
I still remember that on my way back from school there was a small shop on the road. My friends and I used to stop there almost every day. Sometimes we bought a candy, sometimes a lollipop. And sometimes one friend bought something and we all shared it together. At that time these things were very simple, but the happiness they gave us felt very big.
When I saw this cookie lollipop today, it immediately reminded me of those days when we used to eat it slowly so the taste would last longer. And this jelly rope was also one of the favorite treats among kids. Sometimes we ate it straight, and sometimes we played with it a little before eating, just for fun.
Honestly, time passes very quickly. Those childhood days may never come back, but small things like these can bring those memories alive again for a moment.
So sometimes we should take a small break from our busy lives and remember those simple joys.
