Making simple ladies handbag: 3rd June 2026

Today I'm sharing another of my source of income as a student. When the money is not raining as expected due to some circumstances, alternatives must be put in measures and that too in a positive way.

I love sawing though not so perfect but still trying to get there. My aunty introduce me to this business of making simple and affordable bags for ladies. I have to go to her shop thrice a week to help her make some bags. I help her in cutting the materials to be used. But this one, i did in my house.

The steps to making this bag is not that difficult but must Pay attention to details. First of all, I cut the materials to this shape as seen in the picture. After cutting, I used iron to press and print the designs of different flowers and cartoon characters on the cut material. I proceeded to sawing the bag and then fix the hand.

I usually take them around after making it to sell to friends, go to market as well. Market is the place I sells more because market women love portable bags to put their money. It's not everyday I go out to sell them. People do order it at time and I will waybill it to their location. I'm jack of many trades.

It has really been of help to me. Handwork is lucrative. One cannot be hardworking in his or her field and cannot take care of basic needs of life. Some time, depending every time on people for help can be humiliating and disappointing, that's why I work hard to make end meet for myself and stand my feet as a lady. My self-worth is important and I don't like frustration. I'm trying my very best and hoping for a great turnaround soo
