A Warm Evening with Karhi Pakora

Today we enjoyed karhi pakora for dinner, and it was a very special meal for our family. For this dish, I bought fresh yogurt, gram flour (besan), potatoes, green chilies, spinach, and a few other ingredients from the market. My beloved wife lovingly cut all the vegetables like onion, spinach, and potatoes for the pakoras and mixed them with spices to prepare a tasty batter.

On the other hand, my beloved mother started making the karhi by carefully mixing gram flour into the yogurt and adding traditional spices. She cooked it slowly on low flame, stirring continuously, so it would not stick or split. The whole process took almost two hours, but the result was worth the wait. When the crispy pakoras were added to the hot, flavorful karhi, the taste became even more delicious.
