The Royal Water

Have you ever thought how gold can be dissolved? 🤔
I hadn’t either 🤣
But today, during my studies, I learned about the only liquid that can dissolve gold 😳😳
Yes, it’s Aqua Regia, also called Royal Water 🙂‍↕️
It is the only liquid that can dissolve gold, and interestingly, it’s not found naturally 🤣
It can be prepared in the laboratory 😳 by simply mixing two acids 😌
1 part nitric acid (HNO₃) and 3 parts hydrochloric acid (HCl) 😳😳
Amazing, right?
