Phone Photography: GARDENIA (Cape Jasmine - LookAlike)
Happy last day of the month of April friends,
Am happy to have time to share a new creative flowery post from some of my outings.
A few days ago I was inspecting an apartment for a client who said he will love ❤️ to live in a place with a compound filled with loving nature atmosphere and flowers 💐 when I came across this beautiful shrub with loving white flowers called #GARDENIA
What attracted me to this plant 🌱 is how glossy dark green the leaves 🍃feels and the white layered /rosette like - flowers just of four to five inches in diameter. I love shrubs like this because they are above the ground level and can reach ten to twelve feet high, but in warmer climates and with pruning happily stay lovingly 🌳.
Gardenia are shrubs that produce white flowers of four to five inches in diameter and they flower from late spring to early summer. This shrub Gardenia I learnt need more maintenance than other plants 🌱 as they are prone to mildew, leafy 🍃 spots, anthracnose, mold, scales, mealy bugs 🐜🐛and spider mites
However, gardenia likes clay, loam and sandy soil. The soil should also be moist and well-drained. They need plenty of sunlight and likes the morning sun ⛅️ and afternoon shade . Truly a creamy flower buds that makes one feels good .
