The Beauty of Snow and the Silent Struggles of Nathiagali’s Locals
Hello Assalamualaikum wishing to viewers.
Some astonishing views through my lens
Nathiagali truly looks like a dream after snowfall. Everything is covered in a white blanket—trees wrapped in snow, quiet roads, and cold air that brings a strange sense of peace. Tourists come to enjoy this season, take photos, and spend a few days before returning home. But behind this beauty, there is also a bitter reality.
For the local people who live here all twelve months of the year, snow often becomes a major problem. After heavy snowfall, roads remain closed for many days. The government response is usually slow, and roads are not cleared on time, which badly affects daily life. Taking patients to hospitals becomes difficult, work stops, and even basic necessities become hard to find.
Snow looks beautiful and magical, but for local residents it turns into a serious challenge. Roads stay blocked for days, and sometimes even tourists get stuck in the snow because of poor management. This natural beauty becomes a hardship when basic facilities are ignored.
Snow is beautiful in its own way, but along with beauty, proper planning, timely road clearance, and care for local people are equally important. If these issues are addressed, Nathiagali can truly become a paradise not only for tourists but also for those who call it home.
